DESCRIPTION

This track conrtains Course 110: Technology as a Tool - Product Security Features & Brand Protection Lab Capabilities and Course 111: Measurement & Metrics - Exposure, Value, Impact, and Return on Investment with a focus on how to maximize the capabilities of technology and measuring its effectiveness.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the role of technology in brand protection programs.
  • Identify how key technological applications enhance product security, supply chain transparency, and risk mitigation.
  • Recognize the roles of technology providers, service providers, brands, guardians, and labs in deploying effective brand protection solutions.
  • Explain how brand protection labs can support investigations, enforcement actions, and supply chain integrity.
  • Understand the global scope and implications of illicit trade in goods to inform brand protection strategies.
  • Identify key internal and external stakeholders' roles in defining the scope of  illicit trade in goods.
  • Recognize frameworks and techniques for measuring, analyzing, and responding to the scope and size of illicit trade in goods.
  • Infer how key metrics and benchmarking provide insights into the effectiveness of brand protection strategies.
