DESCRIPTION

In this course, you will learn about how brands can conduct focused investigations to protect their products and consumers from the threats by  bad actors. The primary goal is to understand the importance of gathering accurate and reliable information to make informed decisions, solve problems, and determine actions to follow.  The course will discuss how effective investigations help mitigate immediate threats and contribute to long-term strategies for brand integrity and consumer trust.

Building on concepts from Course 107, this course will teach you how to answer specific questions and uncover detailed facts about smaller components of a market environment. You will understand the process of inquiry, including the collection, analysis, as well as the interpretation and handling of evidence to resolve uncertainties and establish the facts.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of brand protection investigations led by a brand.
  • Understand how to create an investigation plan,  implement effective protocols, and develop appropriate tactics.
  • Determine the elements for a clear and concise investigative report and case management. 
  • Determine actionable recommendations for developing solid investigations based on industry best practices.
